The Gallery
At Tunbung Art Village in Tujereng you will find a gallery with a permanent exhibition of the work of Baboucarr Etu Ndow. Etu was one of the leading talented, well-known and beloved artists in painting, tie dye, batik, furniture making, screen printing, sculpturing and producing films, in the Gambia. Unfortunately he passed suddenly away in 2014.
Around the gallery, in the shady garden grounds, you will also find Etu’s sculptured works and other creations from natural and recycled materials. as well as the artistically designed buildings from the guesthouse.
Etu started his gallery at Tunbung Art Village in 2002 as a part of his own art project with the combination of workshops art and exhibitions as well as a guesthouse. There are still regularly workshops and exhibitions of other talented artists
